Multiple OS in VPS Servers
Our VPS server packages include three Linux releases that you can choose from for the Operating System of your new web server - Debian, Ubuntu and CentOS. Aside from being totally free, the OSs are really stable and secure and the primary reason to offer the three of them is to make sure that you will be able to run any kind of application that you would like, because different pieces of software have different requirements with regards to the environment they work on. Each of the three OSs is supported by a vast community of web developers who have produced thousands of software packages that you can set up and use on your VPS. Based on the Operating System which you choose, you will also be able to select between three different Control Panels to manage your hosting content. Of course, in case you decide that you need another OS, we can always re-install the server with it. As an additional upgrade, we also offer weekly updates of the Operating System for maximum stability and security.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server plans - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They're all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they're completely free and they will not increase the low price of your new web server, but also because they are very stable and secure. Each one of them is supported by a vast community of developers, so you will be able to choose from thousands of software packages that you could install on your server in case the app that you want to work with has certain requirements. The Operating System will also determine what internet hosting Control Panel you can use since the Control Panels that we offer run on particular OSs only and because we want to provide you with as much freedom as possible, we offer several OSs and multiple Control Panels. In case you get a server with a given OS, we will change it upon request if it turns out that you will need alternative one. We could also keep the OS updated weekly as a part of our additional Managed Services upgrade.
