Node.js in Shared Hosting
All shared hosting that we offer support Node.js and you are able to add this avant-garde event-driven platform to your shared web hosting account via the Add Services/Upgrades menu in your Hepsia Control Panel. You’ll be able to choose the amount of instances for this specific upgrade, i.e. how many different platforms/websites will utilize Node.js simultaneously, and you can activate as many instances as you wish. Hepsia will also allow you to specify the path to your .js app and to choose if you’ll use a dedicated IP address or the physical server’s shared one. Accessing Node.js will be possible using a random port number selected by our cloud platform. Furthermore, you can stop or reboot any instance that you’ve added, change the path to the .js application or view the output of the active instances with only a few mouse clicks from your hosting Control Panel via a very intuitive GUI.
Node.js in Semi-dedicated Servers
You will be able to use Node.js for any real-time script-powered software app running in a semi-dedicated server account, since the Node.js platform comes bundled with all our semi-dedicated server hosting packages and you can get it with just a few clicks of the mouse. If you want to use it for multiple web sites, you can get more instances from the Upgrades section of your Hepsia Control Panel. The setup is as easy as indicating the location of your .js file and choosing if Node.js should use a dedicated IP address or any of the server’s shared ones, so you can make the most of Node.js even if you lack previous experience with similar software. Our system will also allocate a random port which will be used to access the .js file for the given app. Hepsia has a simple-to-use graphical interface that will allow you to reboot and to remove any of your running instances, to add new ones or to view your apps’ output with just one single click.
Node.js in VPS Servers
All VPS servers that are ordered with our custom-built Hepsia hosting Control Panel offer Node.js as standard and you can take advantage of the event-driven platform for each script-powered web app that you run on the Virtual Private Server. Since we haven’t put a limitation on the number of Node.js instances that you can set up, you can take full advantage of the power of our virtual servers and mix it with the full capacity of Node.js. The setup is done through the Hepsia Control Panel’s easy-to-use, point-and-click graphical interface, so even if you aren’t technically experienced, you won’t have to deal with any obstacles while working with the platform. You’ll only have to indicate the path in the VPS account to the .js file that will use Node.js and to select whether it will use a shared or a dedicated IP address. Furthermore, our system will also choose a port number to access the file and you will be able to see it in the respective section in the Hepsia Control Panel. With only one mouse click, you’ll be able to view your applications’ output and to delete or to reboot any instance running on the VPS server.
Node.js in Dedicated Servers
Node.js comes bundled with all dedicated servers on which our custom-developed Hepsia Control Panel is installed. The latter has an incredibly intuitive and user-friendly interface, so even if you’ve never used the Node.js platform before, you’ll be able to uncover its true potential in just a couple of easy steps. Once you have uploaded the application’s content, you will need to specify the location of the respective .js files that will use the Node.js platform and to pick the IP that they’ll use (shared or dedicated), while our system will set a random port that will be used to access these files. There is no limitation as to the total number of Node.js instances that you can activate and run at the same time and you’ll exert full control over them via the Hepsia Control Panel – you will be able to order new ones or to cancel/restart existing ones, to check the output log for each application, etc.
