The default amount of system memory that Varnish can use to cache data is 64 megabytes, but in case you decide that you want more, you can upgrade this memory from the Control Panel’s Upgrades section. You can also upgrade the Varnish instances, in other words – the number of the websites that can use this caching platform at the same time. As these two things are not bound to each other, you can use a few instances with the default amount of memory or you can add more memory in increments of 32 MB and use all of it for one single site. The Varnish platform works best if you use a dedicated IP address for the sites that utilize its power. Hepsia will provide you with a simple way of rebooting any instance. On top of that, you’ll be able to clear the cached contents with only a click.
Varnish in VPS Servers
You can take full advantage of the load balancing capabilities of Varnish with each of our VPS servers if you select Hepsia as your Control Panel. The data caching platform is offered by default and the memory that it will be able to use to cache the content of your sites is dependent upon the specific Virtual Private Server package that you’ve chosen, but even with the less powerful packages, you will have at least several hundred MB of memory at your disposal solely for data caching purposes. This amount is sufficient to improve the work of multiple sites. It’ll take some time for you to see the effects, since the Varnish platform caches the content that site visitors access, but shortly thereafter you will notice the substantially reduced server load and the enhanced site loading speed. The Varnish caching platform will permit you to use a lower-end VPS plan for sites that would normally require a more pricey hosting solution.
Varnish in Dedicated Servers
You can employ Varnish to accelerate the load speed of any website that’s hosted on a dedicated server from us if the Hepsia hosting Control Panel is pre-installed on the machine.
